Referat: Mathematical Optimization with Gradient Descent and its Application in Neural Networks for Classifying Medical Images

Streszczenie.
The gradient descent (GD) algorithm is an approximate and iterative method for mathematical optimization. You can use it to approach the minimum of any differentiable function. It can be used to approach the minimum of any differentiable function. We are discussing the intuition behind the GD algorithm and its implementation in python. Also why and how GD is used as activation function in neural networks. Finally, we look into its application for classifying the existence of pneumonia in medical scans.
