Dear Colleagues
As you might have expected, due to the coronavirus problem, the conference cannot held at the previously announced date. With the approval of the Steering Committee we have decided to move SIDE 14 conference to another period. The most possible option is June 2021 (we considered also September 2020). The place will remain the same. The final decision will be announced soon.

I apologize for any inconvenience this situation might cause. I shall try to negotiate special arrangements for those who have already payed for accommodation but cannot come on the new date.

Yours Sincerely,

Adam Doliwa

Venue: Hotel Anders, Stare Jabłonki near Olsztyn, Poland
Dates: Sunday 14 June (arrival day) to Saturday 20 June 2020 (departure day)

SIDE 14 is the fourteenth in a series of biennial conferences devoted to Symmetries and Integrability of Difference Equations, and in particular to: ordinary and partial difference equations, analytic difference equations, orthogonal polynomials and special functions, symmetries and reductions, discrete differential geometry, integrable discrete systems on graphs, integrable dynamical mappings, (discrete) Painlevé equations, integrability criteria, Yang-Baxter type equations, cluster algebras, difference Galois theory, quantum mappings, quantum field theory on space-time lattices, representation theory, combinatorics, numerical models of differential equations, discrete stochastic models and other related topics.

The first SIDE conference took place in Estérel, Quebec, Canada, May 22-29, 1994. The event was so successful that it gave rise to the series of conferences since held in the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan (Tokyo), France, Finland, Germany, Australia, Bulgaria, China, India, Canada and Japan (Fukuoka).

SIDE 14 will take place at Hotel Anders in Stare Jabłonki (25 km from Olsztyn), Poland, from June 14, 2020 (arrival day) to June 20, 2020 (departure day). Olsztyn, founded in XIVth century, is the capital of the Warmian-Masurian region, a famous lake district which can offer a wide range of leisure activities, such as swimming, kayaking, biking and hiking. For a mathematical tourist the main attraction will be the experimental table drawn by Copernicus on the walls of the Gothic Castle, which is the only surviving original astronomical device used by him.
